The 1st Professor R.V.S. Yadav "Legend of Transplantation" Memorial Oration (4 February 2008)

The Raj Vir Singh Yadav Foundation organizes Professor R.V.S. Yadav Memorial Oration every other year.

On 4 February 2008, the first Professor R.V.S. Yadav Memorial Oration titled "Legends of Transplantation" was organized in collaboration with the Indraprastha Apollo Group of Hospitals at the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital auditorium. The Oration was delivered by Sir Peter J. Morris, AC FRS, and Head Centre for Evidence in Transplantation, Royal College of Surgeons of England, former President of the Royal College of Surgeons.

About 200 specialist consultants, paramedics and technical staff and guests comprising representatives from industry, architecture, the law, the civil services, the parliament and other distinguished people participated in the Oration. The Oration was telecast on Doordarshan apart from receiving several accolades and other coverage.
